Early Elementary B: Write Your Own Picture Book

Age 7-9

Course Description

In this course, early elementary students (usually 2nd and 3rd graders) will discover and master writing and presentation skills so that they can author and present an original picture book! During the project, students will play vocabulary games to discover parts of speech, solve riddles to learn the rules of capitalization and punctuation, practice opinion writing and narrative writing, and learn strong presentation skills. When the book is complete, Juni will provide families with detailed instructions to upload and order their book from a trusted vendor. At the end of this course, your child will feel the confidence and pride from the work of authoring a real book, which also makes a great, memorable gift for grandparents and friends.
