Early Elementary A: Discovering Numbers, Operations, and Measurement

Course Details

This is an elementary-level course designed with 2nd grade math standards in mind. The course develops foundational skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, through hands-on activities designed to help students discover math.

Early Elementary A covers Addition and Subtraction within 100 and within 1,000, Intuitive Thinking with Multiplication and Division, and Data and Measurement. After this course, students will continue to build their foundational knowledge of math in Early Elementary B.


Course Curriculum

This course typically takes about 6 months to complete. This depends on the student's dedication to homework, their previous experience, and the difficulty of course material. Our instructors move at the pace of the student, taking extra time to reinforce concepts as needed.
