At Juni Learning, we’re all about thinking big. So this August, we completely redesigned what Math competitions could look like.

We asked each of you to submit your most creative waffles and mini-business plans in celebration of National Waffle Day in our very first Mathematics Open Challenge.

We wanted to see how you would incorporate your learnings from data analysis, ratios, arithmetic, linear piecewise functions, and so much more...and we were absolutely thrilled with the submissions!

Juni's First Mathematics Open Challenge

We were inspired by how thoughtful, funny, creative, and heartwarming each submission was. Needless to say, it was very difficult to choose 3 winners from each league.

Our judges spent hours carefully reviewing each and every individual and team submission. Each submission was evaluated using our four key grading criteria — mathematical accuracy and relevancy, mathematical application, creativity, and presentation.

Even if you didn't place in this Open Challenge, we highly encourage all students to continue their amazing work and compete again in our next Open Challenge (psst...it’s a good one!).

Thank you everyone, and be sure to look out for our upcoming Open Challenge events! We'll be holding Open Challenges throughout the year, so stay tuned for updates on our blog.

Announcing our Aug 2020 Winners!

We’re excited to present to you our winners for each league below, and congratulate them for their amazing work.
